S.rtrv Proper Head Unit Setting For Subwoofer
in the functions menu there is an s.rtrv function with 1,2, and off functions. Which would be the proper function when running rca to amps to subs?

S. Rtrv is circuitry that's supposed to restore some of the dynamics lost in mp3/wma files. It seems to do is add a little boost to the far ends of the frequency response, mainly treble. I don't like using it on any HU as it's just a band aid for poor recordings and/or low bit rate files. If there's noise in the mix, it gets boosted as well. Some people like it, some don't. There's no guidance on which setting to select ( 1>2> or the preferred off).
