My DV-220KV-K, which is sold as a Multi Region DVD player has locked up on me. The following message comes onto the TV screen...(Player's Region Setting)<1> : Region<2> : Region<3> : Region<4> : Region<5> : Region<6> : RegionPick out any one of these!The message remains on the screen ALL the time and I'm locked out of viewing anything. The remote is locked and so I cannot pick any of the region numbers!I have also tried to change the DVD mode to USB mode, but it won't allow me to do that either. When I turn the power on, it says "ON", then it says, what looks like, "480P", then it says "load", and finally it says "rE61", which I think means "Reg 1". Am I supposed to punch in some kind of code that will allow this to work for me? It is really quite frustrating. It was a very good player for about 4 weeks.
