Cell Phone Muting

Is there a way to bypass or turn off "cell phone muting" on this unit?  I have my iphone connected through the aux input on the back of the head unit so that I can listen to music.  When the phone rings, I hear it through my system speakers, but lose the sound when I answer the call.  Would like to be able to hear my calls through my speakers.
