Why The Cd Player Stop Reading Cds

the cd player in my fwm143 does not read the music any longer, can I repair it by buying a new lazer reader and replace the old one?

May be you could if you field comfortable by doing this kind of technical work. The optical assembly could cost you between 40 to 65 Dollars. then you need the service manual a scope and an alignment CD to perform the technical assembly alignment. I would recommend that you bring the unit in for service to the nearest service center.
