Top Thread Breaking - Stitches Loose

top thread breaking - stitches are not always catching bottom thread. bottom thread lying straight.

check whether the upper thread runs correctly from the spool of thread to the needle.

Cause :

The upper thread is of poor quality . The thread may be too weakor it may be rotten dure to poor storage and with stand the tension imposed on it . The thread may be too hard and not posses the necessary elasticity.

Solution : Loosen the tension of the upper thread by turning the tension nut clock wise . if possible change the inferior thread with one of good quality .
