Panasonic Nn-cf778sbpq Microwave Dcp Error Code Reset Key Sequence
I have two Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ microwaves one that was dropped and displays the dreaded H98 error and another that works perfectly. I installed the DCP from the faulty machine on my working machine and the H98 error remained and the unit would not work.
I used the control panel from my good microwave on the damaged one and it worked. However after a while the working control displayed the H98 error whilst on the damaged machine.
When I put the panel back on my working machine the H98 error appeared when the start button is used.
The faulty machine I suspect has an open circuit on the magnetron.
My concern now is more that my perfectly good and working microwave will not work as the control panel used from this to test the faulty machine now displays the H98 error when the start button is pressed on the working machine.
Do the DCP’s on these need to be replaced once an error message occurs as from previous test it is only the board with the LED that seems to be affected. Will I need to purchase a new PCB Au or is there a service menu that will allow the message to be reset ?
