I have a 2000 Alero and i'm not sure if my alternator is good enough for the car or if i need a new one. The car has 150,000 miles and i just use it around town. I don't want to but a new alternator if its just the battery. The car wont start but the interior lights , radio, ane all interior things such as locks ect. works. How do i go about knowning if the alternator is good or if i need a new one, now i do not have a volt meter and the car won't start for me to take it to someone.
