2000 Alero Blower Not Working Properly

The blower on my 2000 Olds ALero only works on 4 and 5.  I replaced the resistor, and all settings worked for a few minutes.  The new resistor blew on settings 1-3 again.  I am checking all other fuses related to the blower.  In the fuse box under the hood, there are 2 fuses (#6 & #10), that are A.I.R.  These fuses are not there. I need to know what these fuse amperages are, and if the lack of these fuses being there are causing my blower problem. Thank you,James
