If your 99 Bravada won't start on its own unless you put fuel or starting fluid every time, it's likely a fuel delivery problem. Here are a few things you can try to diagnose and fix the issue:
  1. Check the fuel pump: A faulty fuel pump can cause a lack of fuel delivery to the engine. You can check the fuel pump by turning the key to the "ON" position (without starting the engine) and listening for a humming noise from the fuel tank area. If you don't hear the noise, the fuel pump may need to be replaced.
  2. Check the fuel filter: A clogged fuel filter can restrict fuel flow to the engine. You can check the fuel filter by locating it (usually near the fuel tank or under the hood) and inspecting it for any signs of damage or clogs. If it's dirty or clogged, it should be replaced.
  3. Check the fuel pressure: A fuel pressure gauge can be used to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If the pressure is low or inconsistent, there may be a problem with the fuel pressure regulator or a leak in the fuel system.
  4. Check the fuel injectors: Dirty or clogged fuel injectors can prevent the engine from starting. You can clean the fuel injectors by using a fuel injector cleaning kit or have them professionally cleaned.
  5. Check the spark plugs: Faulty or worn spark plugs can also cause engine starting issues. You can check the spark plugs by removing them and inspecting them for any signs of wear or damage. If they're dirty or worn, they should be replaced.

If you're unsure about any of these steps or unable to diagnose the problem yourself, it's best to take your vehicle to a professional mechanic for further inspection and repairs.
