My Brand New Camera Won't Upload Pix To My Macbook

I called Nikon and spoke to Amie H not only was she rude, she kept interrupting me and eventually hung up on me. I just don't understand why the camera won't transfer photos to my computer. I think I'll return it and get a canon!
