Can You Just Loginto This Router Without Using The Setup Wizzaed Cd?

when I use the setup wizzard it wipes out my lan settings and I have to change them back them the router does not recognize the pc an I can not log into the router to change the settings

Connect directly to the router with an Ethernet cable. Open a browser to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.

When prompted, enter "admin" for the router user name and "password" for the router password, both in lowercase letters.
