hello, could you please tell me where the network key is on my netgear router?

When you connect to the router by cable you don't need an Internet connection to be able to access the settings. In a web browser e.g. Internet Explorer you enter this http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 and then log into the router, the default login is user - admin password - password.
Then you go to the router Wireless Settings page where you can read or change the key.
If the default password does not work then you need to factory reset the router. Download your router manual from here to see how to factory reset the router;
