You can see from the many complaints that Net10 has very poor customer service, and it's getting worse all the time. I guess that's how they can keep their cost of minutes down. I never used to have to wait on hold when I called them; I just prayed to get a rep I could understand. Now you're on hold for 20 minutes and just grateful to hear a human voice at last. That's why I recommend trying to get help through their Facebook page, where at least the English is English.
The phones are usually good, and the minutes are cheap, but when you have a problem you will pay quadruple in time and frustration. Good luck!
