Why Does My Husband And My Phone Keep Saying 'emergency Only Calls? If W Get
Phones can not be used (2) Dial number and receive "Emergency only" explanation. Drops calls continually. Have many minutes and days on phone. still can't use them! If we do get thru to CS they just keep us on the phone to use up our minutes. Want to report them to the BBB. Have had trouble for years with net 10!

It's possible tha the coverage in your area is poor. Check the Net10 coverage map on their site, and if your area has poor coverage, there is your answers. If not, then try their customer service and insist on speaking to a supervisor. If you still can't get the problem resolved, consider switching to another service. There are quite a number of pre-paid services that are decent. Virgin Mobile is cheap and decent, as is Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireleas, Metro PCS and a number of other ones.
