Why Does My Font Size Become Very Small On Every Website!!

I can't read the small font and have tried to adjust it but it won't stick.  PLEASE HELP!!  If this keeps up, I'm going to have to go back to Internet Explorer where it works fine and can be adjusted with no problem.
