Im Switching My Service To A New Phone But Whem I Press *228 For The Programming

Nothing happens for about 45 seconds until programming call ends. A message saying a special call needs to be made to program so try again or call customer service. My old phone has a big sim card but my new phone has a micro sim card, the micro was given to me by a friend that nolonger uses metro so his old/my new sim card has no network service id on it. Could that be why I cant call from my new phone to have it programmed for service ? I just need help

Hi. You can cautiously cut your old normal-sized SIM to a micro-sized one and simply install it into your need one or you will have to contact customer support to be assisted with SIM swapping.
