2001 Mercury Sable Will Not Turn Over.after Parking. It Has Power But Will Not

After parking it will not crank but has power.

Try to start the car in neutral. If that doesn't work, move the shifter through the gears and place it back in park and then try to start it. If it starts when you try either of those, it was probably just a one time thing and it should be okay in the future. 

If those ideas don't work, try to wipe off your key with a cloth or try your second key to the car. Your car probably has a VATS (vehicle anti-theft system) setup. The resister in the key sometimes gets dirty or becomes inoperable. If neither key works, then you might have to take it to a garage and have them figure it out.
