Troubleshooting!

We have never had a problem with our daughter's, Memorex MVD2040-FLR...I walked in her room and found her messing with the remote. No telling what she was pressing because know it's saying no signal and it's showing double of everything on her screen. I know it's the DVD player and not the TV, because she had the DVD remote. She's 2...mind you..and now I have no clue on how to reverse whatever she did..Someone please help.
