It sounds like there might be a few possible explanations for the short beeping noise in your Mazda 3. Let's troubleshoot this:

Possible Causes:

Door Ajar: Double-check all your doors (including the trunk/hatch) are fully closed. Even a slightly ajar door can trigger a beeping sound.

Seatbelt: Ensure your seatbelt is fully fastened. Many cars have a seatbelt warning beep.

Low Tire Pressure: If one or more of your tires are underinflated, your tire pressure monitoring system may alert you with a beep.

Blind Spot Monitoring: Some Mazda 3s have a Blind Spot Monitoring feature that will beep if it detects a vehicle in your blind spot while you're changing lanes.

Speed Warning: Certain models allow you to set a speed warning that beeps when you exceed a specific speed.

Maintenance Reminder: Some beeps can indicate a needed service or maintenance interval. Check your owner's manual for details.

Airbag/Seatbelt Fault: If you see any warning lights related to airbags or seatbelts, the beeping is likely a serious warning. Visit a mechanic promptly.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Notice When It Happens: Pay attention to when the beeping occurs. Is it when driving? When turning? At certain speeds? This can narrow down the cause.

Check Dashboard: Look closely for any warning lights, even if they aren't immediately obvious.

Review Owner's Manual: Your Mazda 3 owner's manual has a section dedicated to warning sounds and their meanings.

Recall Check: Visit https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Mazda 3's VIN to see if there are any known recalls that might explain the beep.

If You Can't Identify the Cause:

Take note: Write down when the beeping occurs. Record the sound if possible.

Visit a Mechanic: A Mazda dealership or a trusted mechanic may be able to diagnose the problem quickly using diagnostic tools.

Please let me know if you can provide any other details about when the beeping occurs, and I'll try to help you further!
