Is There A Replaceable Timer For This

My Maytag MGDB725BW dryer is heating ok but the timer display jumps from 40 to 42 minuteswhen I hit the start button. The burner comes on and runs until it gets to 39 minutes then drops down to 2 minutes. After it runs for another 2 minutes the dryer shuts down. Is there a replaceabletimer on this dryer? Bob
