Maytag Refridgerator Mff2558veq Ice Maker Jams

Our Ice Maker is constantly jamming with ice cubes that we have to pull/pry out of it. Was thinking the cubes might be too small due to not enough water getting into the tray. Is their a filter that might need to be replaced. Have had it for 5 years. If it needs a new filter, please provide Part #. Thank You
