Is A Bearing Covered Under The Drive Motor Warranty?

The repairman said the bearing has gone and will cost at least $600 to replace.  Is the bearing covered under a warranty?

Do you have an extended warranty on This dryer? if so you don't have to pay for. I think this guy is over charging you for this repair. He is adding lots of labor charge to your repair. I would call another service tech for an estimate on this unit.
