How Can I Get In Touch With Magic Jack Customer Service?

I have no phone service. I can't call out and I can't receive calls. The message I get on my phone is "no phone line" please advise

Sorry for your problems. Yours is unfortunately representative of a great many complaints about magicJack, which could be charitably characterized as administratively challenged.

magicJack’s customer support is for the most part magically lacking. The phone number of 561-594-9925 is for billing matters only, and seeking either that phone help or chat help (at www.magicjack.com/techchat) may prove a waste of your time. You may write magicJack at [email protected], or c/o Ymax Communications, POB 6785, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all [partial list]:

if your magicJack is not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet at a sufficiently high speed,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

You may wish to try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here. Or consider "Running MagicJack as System" as outlined here.

If however the device is defective, you may be able to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, the instructions are at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.
