Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all
- if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
- if it's not running,
- if it's not secured in the USB port,
- if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
- if you're not connected to the Internet,
- if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
- or if your magicJack device is defective.
If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.
