MJ+ error 3002 means that the router or router portion of a modem (DSL or Cable) is not handshaking with the MJ+ . This issue is of primary concern when using a wireless router as a wifi link between your computer and the DSL or Cable modem ( which is directly connected by an ethernet cable to the "O" port on the router).
Most of the time resetting the router and/or modem will fix the issue, but sometimes (especially with pre-used routers / modems) a Hard Reset of the router will be necessary, and all connection data will have to be reintered. I had this issue on an Apple Airport Extreme (AE) once and had to use Airport Utility Application to reset the "AE".
