I Have A Dial Tone On My Land Phone, But Can't Dial From It.

I have a dial tone on my MJ land phone, but when I press the buttons to dial out-NOTHING....absolutely, nothing. I CAN receive calls on that phone, and I can make calls using the MJ web phone? Any suggestions

Your device may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if it's not running,
if it's not secured in the USB port,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, simple actions may resolve the problem, as outlined here. Or you may try these instructions.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.

If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221.
