Whanever I Press My Menu I Get A Arror In Opening Url, Application Not Found

Click Start tab and open your control panel... Go to Internet Options.. under Privacy tab.. slide bar down to "Allow all cookies". Under Security tab click on "Trusted sites" then click the "Sites" button. Type the following address into the text bar.. https://reg.talk4free.com & click the "Add" button.. Now type in the following address.. https://my.magicjack.com and click "Add". Uncheck the box at bottom left of window that says "require server verification..." click "OK" then click "Apply" close the Internet Options. Unplug the magic jack and plug it back into a different USB port.

If you see "Error 4"

On your magicJack softphone, please do the following:

Restart the magicJack:

1.  Click "Menu" on the top right-hand corner

2.  Click "Advanced Users >"

3.  Click on "Restart"

If that does not work:

1.  On your computer, go to Control Panel

2.  Go to Network Connections

3.  Right click on your active Internet connection

4.  Select Properties

5.  Scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

6.  Click on Properties.

7.  In there check the little circle that says ”Use the following DNS Server address”.

8.  In Preferred DNS Server type in: 67.90.152.122

9.  In Alternate DNS Server type in: 67.107.71.186

1. Click OK and OK.

Now restart your magicJack:

1.  Click "Menu" on the top right-hand corner

2.  Click "Advanced Users >"

3.  Click on "Restart

If you are located in Morocco and see "error 3" on your magicJack, this error has been created by your ISP/Telephone company and we are trying to work around it. There is nothing else we can do at this time. Please be patient as we are trying to resolve this issue. 

If you are not located in Morocco:

On your magicJack softphone, please do the following:

Restart the magicJack:

2.  Click "Advanced Users >"

3.  Click on "Restart"

Please open port 5060 and 5070 UDP on ALL firewalls and your router, if

you have one. (Router ports can be opened via the web application

applicable to your router).

Restart magicJack again by following the three steps above.  

How to access Web Application for router

1.  Start > Run > Type in cmd > Press ENTER

2.  A command prompt will open

3.  Type ipconfig > press ENTER

4.  Make note / write down name of the default gateway and IP address

5.  Open your Internet Browser

6.  Type in the default gateway IP (Example: 192.168.1.1)

7.  Type in Username and Password

8.  Find "Port Forwarding" and Forward Port 5060 and 5070 UDP for the IP address you located earlier.
