I'm afraid the answer from TheWiz is unlikely to help, as magicJack's phone number is for billing inquiries only, and magicJack's customer service is in general practically nonexistent. Sorry.

My guess is you were misled by magicJack's promotional verbiage, which suggests that you don't need a computer connection to use magicJack Plus. In fact you need a high-speed Internet connection. If you have that and magicJack nevertheless doesn't work, try resetting. Follow the instructions at: http://www.helpowl.com/q/MajicJack/Technical-Support/reset-magicjack-new-username-password/202865
