MJ/Ymax is not paying interconnect fees, or termination fees to the company handling the call routing, so those companies have refused to terminate MJ calls to there subscribers, as it appears that people can call some local number (on certain carriers) but not others.

I sense the end of magic jack coming soon...

I found this answer online and it makes sense as I cannot call my brother in Alaska or my bestfriend in Clinton, IL any longer.
