Please Help Me Register My Old Magic Jack

I am having a terrible time getting my old magic jack set up..my son gave it to me and i am trying to register it and get a number

My guess is you need to reset it. Unplug the magicJack, and run mjRemover.exe and then the Microsoft Fixit Center app. Then reboot and re-plug. (You can download the remover program from http://upgrades.talk4free.com/tools/mjRemover.exe.)

Then hook up the device to your computer via its USB port. With a MAC, double-click the magicJack Plus icon that appears. (With a PC, magicJack Plus software will load automatically.) Click on "Click Here To Register" or on "Click Here for Free Trial." Follow the on-screen prompts.
