Can Not Hear Incoming Call On My Phone Why?

when i receivesome new incoming calls i am not able tohear them but if i call them back i can hear them just find so what could the problem b tech have not been helpful last tech Hero.

Your device may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if it's not running,
if it's not secured in the USB port,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, simple actions will resolve the problem, as outlined here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.

If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221.

After three hours with Magicjack chat they were unable to resolve the problem. The solution is very simple and worked perfectly. Log into your magicjack account and go to call forwarding. Forward the calls to coming into the magicjack to your MagicJack number. In otherwords forward calls to yourself. This immediately resolved the problem of not being able to hear incoming calls and it has worked since.

Steps:

Click "Change Setting" listed under "Call Forwarding."

Click the check-box next to "Check to enable Forwarding."

Enter the number to whereyou want the calls forwarded in the "Calls will forward to:" field.

Click "Save Changes" to save your settings.
