Magic Jack Plus Remains Unregistered Despite Online Registration And Billing

I have already solicited Help Owl's assistance on December 27, 28 & 29 2012 in transferring the telephone number on my Magic Jack unto my new Magic Jack plus. Instructions were followed at setup as stated and, I completed the Registration process and enrolled for the 5 year Platinum plan.  It hasn't been one full day as yet and already my service is aborted.  When I attempt making a call I hear the recording "that I have an unregistered unit".  I have repeated and completed the online registration process, but still there is no dial tone.  It seems that there are problems at the Magic Jack's website affecting customer's Billing and Registration.  Even though these processes were done to completion online still the phone service expected from Magic Jack isn't operational.  Is there anything that I can do to get back service?

Sorry for your problems. Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all
  • if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
  • if your magicJack is not running,
  • if it's not properly secured,
  • if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
  • if you're not connected to the Internet,
  • if your Internet speed is too low,
  • if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,  
  • or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
