Why Is Magicjack Asking Us To Get Prepaid Minutes?

Iwent to the basic pay for the prepaid info. Ihave Starband high speed internet (satilite) they said they couldnt give a satilite thier service. What do i do now?

magicJack's Terms of Service provides:

"We may require prepaid purchase and/or we may charge you for calls to conference lines, platforms and certain high cost calls, or any call wherein we incur a cost from another carrier."

Less scrupulous providers of service require your agreement to extensive Terms of Service that include limitations that are inconsistent with promotional wording on which you would naturally rely—knowing that folks rarely wade through and comprehend those extensive documents. I'm afraid magicJack is one of those less scruplous outfits.

I urge you to complain to the Florida Attorney General at 850-414-3990, and the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399. If it's within 30 days, you can return the product using the instructions at: http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html
