I Just Bought Memorex Dvd- And Will Not Record Bought Brand Before How To Reset

I'm sure you are experiencing a region problem. If your dvd is set for one region & if you live in a different region, it will not record, it's a copyright restriction. Go here for some info on these regions & possible solutions. Use at your risk!
