Ram Memory Reporting In Bios
I have 4 GB ram installed. Total Physical memory in BIOS is listed as 2097152K. Directly below this, Usage memory is listed as 3406784K. I understand that my 32 bit installation of Windows XP limits my usable Ram to 3.25gb, but why is the total phyisical memory listed as only 2gb in the BIOS? In XP, the ram is listed as 3.25gb. I believe the system is recognizing all four 1 mb sticks, so I can't figure out why the total physical memory is listed as only 2gb in the BIOS.
