System Crashing. Need To Update Bios?

Hi, I have a DIY PC that uses MSI motherboard. The model is MSI G31TM-P35 (MS-7529), with BIOS version 4.70. The BIOS info was captured in the Live Update 5 utility tool. My PC has been experiencing severe hang & crash very frequently. This is even so when I'm in the BIOS mode. I'm not sure if it is due to the BIOS, firmware or driver is outdated. I tried to use the 'Live Update 5' tool to get a live update, but was told that my BIOS is up-to-date. When I go to MSI website to search for any new update manually, I couldn't find any link for my model. May I check with you what is the updated firmware & BIOS version for my model? Can I upload the h/w info so you could advice if the BIOS, firmware & drivers are up-to-date? Appreciate your reply. Thank you.

While my BIOS version showed 4.70, why do I only see the latest BIOS version in MSI website to be only 1.7? Is my MB BIOS still the latest? The MSI links is as follow: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/G31M3-F-V2--3-Audio-Ports-.html#/?div=BIOS

I've another disk that run another OS, the crash still persists, so I don't think it's the OS. Is there any stress tool to test my Motherboard? This is to confirm my MB is free from error.

I believe that this might be related to the corrupted Operating System files of your MSI GE60. The ultimate solution for this problem is restoring your MSI GE60 to its default factory settings. This will surely fix the issue but please create a backup for your important files. Here's the manual to learn how you can restore your computer.
