Lexmark 7155 No Display And Beeps
machine just beeps 5 times and no display

It could be a failure of the system board. Before replacing the system board, however, follow these steps as sometimes there is a simple fix for this issue. Turn the printer off. Wait 30 seconds, and turn the printer back on. If the printer did not beep on start-up, try printing. If the document prints as expected and there is no further beeping, then the system board may be fine, but it’s best to keep an eye on the printer to ensure the beeping does not return. If the printer did beep five times again on start-up, turn it off again, and ensure that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet rather than a power strip, surge protector, or extension cord. Turn the printer back on; if it does not beep on start-up, refer to step 2. If the printer continues to beep five times after plugging it into a wall outlet, you will likely need to replace the system board.
