Paper Presence Sensors
I have a Lexmark X954DHe printer. I had to remove the SVC Transfer Belt and in the process I removed the Chrome metal plate right below it that covers the rollers the eject the paper out of the unit upwards to the where you get your printed documents. The is a this metal plate and two (2) sensor on it. It has 2 plugs I need to reconnect. Can you tell me an easy way to do this?

Go online and download The 7558_SM PDF Manual:
Go to page 4-156. Since you already have the metal cove off you should be able to see the two screws (one on each end of the registration/transport roller assembly). Remove those two screws and remove the registration/transport roller assembly (SLOWLY remove the left side first and SLOWLY slide it out of the right side). Re-attach that metal cover and plug in those two male plugs. Re-install the registration/transport roller assembly (SLOWLY slide it back in on the left side and SLOWLY inserting it in on the right side). Now, reinstall those two screws.
