Wifi

i bought a new lenovo G470 laptop and i have a wifi connection already for my pc. how do i use wifi(net) with the same connection for my laptop?

You will need to know the pass-phrase used on the wifi in order to connect.

Since I have no idea if you have Windows XP or 7 I'll assume 7. Click Start and go to Control Panel. Click "Network and Internet" and then "Connect to a network" under the "Network and Sharing Center".

From there it should pop up a list of detected networks. Locate your wifi, right click it and select Connect.

If you don't know the pass-phrase you can locate it on the working PC by running this tool: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html

HI, JUST TURN ON THE SWICHT SLIDING TO RIGHT SIDE, PUSH FN+F5 AND SEE IF THIS IS ENABLE, AFETER THAT SEE AT THE RIGNT SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN THE AVAILABLE WIRELESS CONETIONS, CHOOSE YOURS, INTRODUCE THE PASSWORD FROM YOUR LOCAL MODEM AND SHOUD IT WORK. GOOD LUCK
