Leappad 2 Screen Cracked

My daughters leappad 2 screen had cracked, can it be replaced or do I have to fork out for a new one?

Call Leappad they might replace it for free. The same thing happened to ours and I called they we are in the process of replacement. But we haven't received anything yet as all this happened during Thanksgiving break.

There is also responses out there on how to replace it yourself if you get your hands on a leappad with a unbroken screen. They say you might find one on Ebay, which I haven't been able to find. Hello, Our screen also cracked after we recived it as a gift for our son at xmas time. It is not covered under the warranty. How ever ,Contact customer service via email on the website with your question.

They will ask you to provide information on your leappad. YOu will also need to also provide a picture of the leappad showing the crack. After a few contacts from them, they may provide you with a ONE TIME REPLACEMENT as they did for us. It may take a couple of weeks between contact and recieving your new leappad.

We emailed leap frog on a Friday about a cracked screen. We had the replacement unit by Wednesday (free of charge). They required a picture of the screen attached to the device, your name, the store and date purchased (but if a gift the box numbers), and the serial code off of the battery area. They were quick and efficient. However, we have no idea how to get the apps loaded yet.
