I will never again buy from LeapFrog I purchased a LeapPad 2 well over $100 and the screen cracked my daughter is unhappy and they don't have any replacement parts and just told me to buy a new one at a price like that you should be able to buy a replacement screen that so easily cracked

LeapPad2 is good when it works
My son has had the leap pad for about four months. He loves the story time, and games. However, I haven't been able to connect it to the computer, which as far as I know is the only way to solve issues. Since there is no manual reset on the leapPad2 tends to lean as a source of frustration for both my son and I.

We were so excited to purchase the leap pad for my daughter but when I buy apps, the leap pad doesn't sink up with the new apps, customer service is never available, and the leap pad itself shuts off all the time in the middle of being used. This is the WORST product. I wish I had saved my money, and prevented the frustration that this product has brought my family. Do not buy the leap pad!

Leappad 1
Its sucks it does not stay connected to my computer, it do not stay charged and I have to buy battery for it every other day if I had any clue about this being a poor product I would of never thought about buying it and I would make sure everyone I know knows about this product. matter of fact there are a few friends that have this same issues with there leappad. if you don't not have a issue with your item beleave me its coming mine started a few weeks after but it for my baby girl on Christmas I was thinking it just might have been my computer but just to find out it was the leappad smh I would never again spend my money on leappad and very disappointed about wasting my money!

I bought my son a leapPad2 for Christmas the screen got all scratched up called customer service the sent a new one out got it in a week thank u, but now the new one keeps freezing up it doesn't work with the charger have to purchase new batteries every 3days, the apps and all the videos,games,books are very expensive should of just bought him a tablet..hes so frustrated because half of the time he cant use.

Great toys!
LeapFrog toys range from infant to toddler into childhood so there really is something for all stages of a child's life. The products are high quality, educational, and inexpensive. I love LeapFrog toys because my daughter loves LeapFrog toys!

Having just ordered a LeapPad2 Explorer for my granddaughter, being this is an expensive toy, I was appalled by the high price tags for for the apps, had I known this, I would not have bought this product, in fact I am considering returning it. It would appear leapfrog is more concerned with profits than helping teach children at a reasonable price.

I am from Trinidad and Tobago. I bought a leapfrog leappad From Amazon online shopping on 17th Nov 2012. We received the item on 27th of Nov, however today whilst my son was using the leappad I saw a crack at the top right hand corner. In less than an hour the crack spread along the screen! I just want to know how can I get a screen to fix this thing! My son is going insane! Help me please!!!!

Leap frog and leap pad 2
hi all i have come to the conclusion that you cant go wrong with leap frog as a brand well not with my experiance i have tried some many other cheaper brands and always resort to leap frog my daughter has violet the puppy and many others but the newest love in her life is the leap pad 2 it keeps her entertained and she never bores of it there is so much to do on them i would highly recommend and urge any parent considering the leap pad 2 to buy one you will not regret itSemetrius.... I Love LeapFrog
My sister and I both had one when we were young. It encouraged us to want to learn new things. QuantemPad is good but it's more advanced. For youngsters I would definitely recommend Leapfrog.

leapster 2
my son has loved the leapster 2 for a year now. The device is cheap, around $35 and games are $10-$20 if on sale. We purchased the battery charging device to go with it and this thing gets remarkably great battery life! It is also durable enough to withstand two toddlers fighting over it. The graphics are ok pretty old school to my standards but the kids dont notice. THe sound is clear, there is a variety of games to choose from. THe volume control is great!

Perfect gift choice

Love the toys, not the service
We have several leapfrog toys and we love them. When we have had issues, it can be challenging working with Customer Service - they often don't seem to understand and have strangely worded responses. (Although they are very polite) Calling on the phone works much better than e-mailing.If you run into issues, check their system support site first. Then call Customer Service and if they say they are going to e-mail you a solution, make sure they know what you've already tried. (Or they'll just send you the link to the article on their support site)
Fortunately, we have not had too many issues so our service calls have been limited.
