Lasko 5624 Clicks When Power Button Pressed.

I cannot get the unit to power on. I have done the reset instructions from the owner's manual. There is no digital read-out, only the small light under the timer illuminates. If pressed and held, the unit clicks continuously. I have had it for about one year.

These heaters are great until they aren't great. The problem may be dust on the inside of the unit. I'll check that tomorrow when the sun is up. But a temporary fix for mine is to turn it upside down for about 10 minutes and then flip it over & press the power button & it will work for 4 or 5 hours or 4 or 5 days or longer if it's really cold outside. I've bought & used 4 of these units & only one has totally quit working. It may be due to a undersize fuse which may be beyond my ability to replace.
