Make sure it's clean and the air can flow around it ok. Next, make sure it is sitting upright correctly, some models have a cutout if they tip over or sit on a bad angle. Make sure there is no power cord damage or a badly wired plug (if it has been replaced). Lastly, it may be the thermal cutout which is internal and it shuts it off if there is an overheat. These can fail to the point where they cut out often during operation and need replacing
