How Do I Turn On The Load Sensing Feature?

just bought the LG WM2350HWC, wanted it to sense the size of the load of towels and tell me how much soap to add. It never gave me the load sensing image, so have washed the clothes in water. Couldn't figure out how to restart it from the beginning. so, 2 questions: 1. How do I tell it to load sensor and signal the amt of detergent needed. 2. How do i restart it?
