Ink Leaking In My 6 Month Old Printer
I have a ESP3250 PRINTER at home for family use in general, but mainly for my 12 yr old daughters homework. It is about 6 month old and hasnt really done much printing at all. I needed to change the ink as the indicator was telling me to. Then the black ink wasnt coming out at all. I did check trobleshooting, and was about to clean with cotton bud and luke warm water when i noticed quite a bad leak. I have always used KODAK ink cartridges. What is my best course of action.

If you noticed a leak it can really only be one of two things. A faulty ink cartridge or a faulty print head. I have a Kodak 5250 ESP and I know these print heads were subject to fail.
Unfortunately, Kodak does not have much of a customer service anymore. Your unit is well out of warranty as well. You can find genuine Kodak print heads on eBay for 30-40 dollars. You can also find OEM Kodak 10 "B" and "C" ink on there too.
The only other thing I can think of is perhaps there was a paper jam that you were never told about. That can make ink smear around a bit if it happens just right. If you wish to stay with this printer, you might want to invest in a new print head so you don't waste any or that harder to find, slowly getting more expensive ink.
