Need To Know Largest Capacity Sd/mmc Card That Dx7440 Will Read/record.

not capacity as noted in manual...but what size SC/MMC card can I use...like 1,2,4,8,16,32 GB or larger card? Want most capacity for travel. Also what class 6,10? tell me?

The DX7440 was released in 2004, so you are limited to using ONLY 1 or 2GB SD memory cards. Cameras that were released late 2006, early 2007 and beyond are fully compatible with a SDHC. Go here for the max. cap. sd card pre-formatted for your camera.
