Powder Button Will Not Turn On. Already But New Batteries In.

Hi. If
1. Wiping the battery/camera contacts with a clean, dry cloth before loading the right batteries in the camera.
2. And loading the batteries correctly will not help,
Then the camera will sadly require service.
