Drain Issue Causes Ice Build Up

I replaced the duck bill valve that is the original factory problem with the new style ptrap/tube that so many places say is the problem. I made sure everything was thawed out and dry.Our freezer compartment still freezes up and water leaks out the from more often than before. I am good at fixing things and the repair was a simple one to do. What else could be wrong?Thank you
