Bowl Cover Problem Food Processor

Hello I need HelpI own a KitchenAid KFPM770NK 12-Cup Wide Mouth Food Processor, When i put the bowl cover will not start. I try switching the cover ( just the cover and using the original bowl) for my mothers kitchenaid bowl cover and it work perfectly. Also tried using my cover bowl in my mother's processor and it doesn't work there either. My problem seems to be the bowl cover. Does anyone can help me fix it, I can't afford to buy a new cover.Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me.Regards,Marlene
