How Do I Delete Tabs. Screen Says Too Many

Not aware of any reference to tabs on a Kindle reader. Maybe they are the tabs on your PC or is it a Kindle fire?
That would be an explanation and a simple case of selecting the unwanted tabs and close. If I have misunderstood your question then re-post with more specific information on machine type and problem.
